Angels Fitness Challenge 2017

Eight teams over eight weeks battle it out again to get fit and fundraise.

After the success of last year’s inaugural Angels Fitness Challenge, we were thrilled to welcome 50 participants in April to take part in the 2017 competition. Eight teams were formed ranging from the ‘Crew’ in Happy Valley to the ‘Warriors’ in Sai Kung. Special thanks to our wonderful trainers for volunteering their time, professional guidance and enthusiasm – Kin Ho, Dayle Haigh-Smith, Tim Stevens, Peter Soon, Cristina Morgan and Katherine Toong at JAB studio, Mariles de Guzman, and Tom Preston from Elite Personal Training.
Over the eight-week period, challengers also benefited from tips from Emilie Clairet, our Health and Nutrition Consultant, a 50% off consultation with a physio at The Round Clinic, a free Muay Thai session by POW Muay Thai and Fitness and a Zumba class hosted by the Angels Zumba team.
The hard work paid off with all teams doing an amazing job getting fitter, healthier and, importantly, raising more than HK$200,000 for the children we support at Bali Kids and Sunrise Cambodia.
Congratulations to Stephanie Marmagne who was our top individual fundraiser and to the ‘Happy Valley Crew’ (Louise Titterington, Chantal Cook, Melissa Walsh, Genevieve Neil Burke, Ruth Kelly and Zoe Conlin) who won top fundraising team.
In the fitness competition, the most improved team was the Sai Kung Warriors (Imelda Maria du Toit, Becky Lohan, Barbarah Nicole Dudman, Beverly Bollozos, Sharon Marjorie Knowler, Lee King, Carmel Therese Hutchinson, Carolyn Blacker and Rachel Nardone). And fitness prize for Top Individual was awarded to Carmel Hutchinson.
Special thanks also to our wonderful sponsors: H Kore, The Round Clinic, Jebsen Travel, Kerry HotelThe Patsy, Everything Organic, Nuzest, 2XU, Farmers Market and 208 Duecento Otto’s

Thanks also to Vinay and his team at Alto Bar & Grill for providing the perfect venue for the "Angels White Party" at the end of the challenge, to our resident DJ, Ying, for her happening vibes and to Matt from HQ Photo for taking our pics.
